Review: Plastic, hollow plastic like the kids toys. It’s sturdy and actually works well. Holds enough on it and not for sitting on. It’s larger than I thought and fits in your car between the seats. One side is for studying and the other side is for eating. You can also roll on it if you know what I mean. I love it! Light and easy install. Holds even with a wheel cover.
